Swindon Town ended their brief run without a win by beating Brighton & Hove Albion this afternoon but it appears that it has come with a price.
Danny Wilson was forced to use all three available substitutions within the first half due to injuries sustained throughout the 45 minutes.
David Lucas pulled up after little over 10 minutes with a hamstring injury and was replaced by Phil Smith. Meanwhile, Vincent Pericard was forced off with a similar injury after half an hour. Finally, Danny Ward took a knock and was replaced by Craig Easton.
Despite this, Town snatched a win thanks to a Charlie Austin effort.
The Town boss praised his battling side with special praise to Mark Marshall.
Town face an intimidating trip to Southampton in mid-week. Danny Wilson has hinted that he could once again dip into the transfer market depending on how serious the injuries are.
