Devlin Confirms Reeves Departure


Alan Reeves has left Swindon Town Football Club, The club have confirmed today.

Speaking to the press about the iminent announcement as Dennis Wise as manager, Devlin confirmed that fan favourite Alan Reeves has been shown the way out.

'We have now parted company with both Iffy and Alan. I would like to place on record my thanks for all their hard work. We will be speaking with Dennis in the early part of next week.'

Reeves has been a great servant to the club since 1998 when he joined on a free transfer.

Us here are Vital Swindon wish Alan and Iffy the best of luck in the future and thank them for their contributions on and off the pitch

Devlin has gone down in my estimations. I feel really sorry for Iffy and Reeves and in my opinion have been treated in an unprofessional manner.

totally agree all been handled very much cloak and dagger, but after power came in was it any surprise iffy went just a matter of whom came in really

I think we needed a fresh change, but think it could have been done with more tact, Iffy such a nice bloke should heve been treated with more respect.
