2010 Vital Swindon Awards

In the coming weeks Vital Swindon will be creating several polls to decide who wins what in our first end of season awards.

We've been doing the Player of the Month Awards all season long but these will celebrate various other It's just a bit of fun!

POLL #1:

The Shay Given Award for Loan Player of the Season


Was it Ferry? Sheehan? Ward? Darby? YOU DECIDE.

POLL #2

The 'Bert's Babes' Award for Young Player of the Season


Named in honour of the influx of young players who emerged during the reign of manager Bert Head in the 1950's and 1960's. The players considered are those who were 21 or under on the first day of the season.

POLL #3:

The Nestor Lorenzo Award for Cult Hero


They may not be the greatest player in the squad but they've shown enough effort or character to win over the Town faithful.

The Kevin Horlock Award for Most Improved Player of the Season


HE WAS RUBBISH UNDER MALPAS! But all of a sudden they are putting a shift in on a regular basis... Who deserves the award?

The 'Spirit of 69' Award for Best Team Performance of the Season


Six points earned against Leeds United and Southampton... Or were other hard earned victories more impressive?
