'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Brentford Fixture Could 'Come at a Cost'

Minor injuries are beginning to take their toll this week as Swindon prepare for the visit of Brentford on Saturday.

No less than six first team players have been treated for injuries this week. Wilson has stated that these fitness issues are mainly fatigue and slight muscle strains. The Town boss also commented that if these any of these players were not fit enough they would not play - but a 'calculated risk' has to be considered too.

The size of the risk depends on whether Danny Wilson believes his side can still realistically take the second spot.

I think you will need 86 points at least to go up automatically, so I would rest who you can, its going to be tough in the play offs

It was tough getting into the Play-Offs... But I'm inclined to agree. Plus it wouldn't do us much harm to give some fringe players a run out for match practice... JUST IN CASE.

They should not be risked - as this may cost us dearly in the playoffs.

Lucas, Darby, Lescinel, Greer, Cuthbert; Marshall, Henshall, Ferry, Easton, Nouble, Bodin. (Subs: Amankwaah, Smith, Timlin, Douglas, Paynter, Austin, McGovern) .... I'd like to see this (1) to rest players and (2) introduce Henshall and Bodin to the first team set-up.

Obviously, subs depend on who's suffering more... So Sheehan and Ward could be in there. Yes, we may lose but I don't think there are any easy options in the PO's.
