Loanee of the Season: Simon Ferry

Loanee of the Season: Simon Ferry

Celtic midfielder Simon Ferry has won Vital Swindon's first end-of-season award by scooping the Loanee of the Season accolade.

The former Scotland youth international originally joined on a 3 month loan deal in August along with fellow Bhoy Ben Hutchinson. However, this deal was extended in January as Ferry was a vital cog in Town's significant improvement from last season.

Ferry has consistantly impressed in his 39 league outings for Swindon, scoring 2 goals (against Tranmere Rovers and Stockport County).

Danny Wilson will be keen to secure the permanent services of the 22 year old who is out-of-contract in the Summer.

LOANEE OF THE SEASON

Winner: Simon Ferry (Celtic)
Runner-Up: Stephen Darby (Liverpool)
