Cureton Returning To Colchester?

The News Of The World is reporting that Striker Jamie Cureton is set to sign a 2 year contract with Colchester United.

Cureton, who wanted to stay at Colchester after his stint their on loan last season is allowed to leave Swindon on a free as the club have been relegated.

Cureton has made it clear he has not been happy at Swindon and has butted heads with the fans on a couple of occasions as well.

Cureton who did nothing in the Championship when there with Queens Park Rangers 2 seasons ago, hopes to be able to turn his fortunes around with newly promoted Championship club Colchester if the article proves true.

It is a known fact Colchester manager Phil Parkinson is a big fan of Cureton's and the fans at Col U would welcome Jamie back with open arms.

he thinks he is better than he is , no chance in the championship he was nt good enough for league 1

He won't do nothing. I bet he spends most of his time warming the bench. Good enough for him he needs to realise that he not bigger than any club. Helped got us relegated and then deserts us, typical. Good riddance.

Doubt if Oxford would want him either.
