WEMBLEY 10: Lackluster Town Defeated

A 39th minute goal by Millwall skipper Paul Robinson was enough to

arn Millwall a Wembley victory and promotion to The Championship.

Swindon were outmuscled in every department but were really punished for a really subpar first half performance.

The only major Swindon chance fell to Charlie Austin who failed to capitalise on an error by the Millwall defender and missed the 1-on-1... Thanks largely to a freak bobble as Austin pulled the trigger.

More to follow....

Whether the pitch was the problem or not - the amount of passes that failed were far too many....

You were a tad unlucky in that the bobble when Austin was through probably stopped a goal. You were outplayed in the first half but could so easily have got at least an equaliser. See you next season.

To the Manager Mr Danny Wilson You have been a godsend, last year fighting relegation, this year play off final at wembley. your the MAN!! To the players (including those thinking of leaving us) I know that you will still be realing from the defeat at wembley, i know how much it meant to you after all the hardwork and effort you made this season, but DONT give up, give us one more season, one more chance to push for promotion, ONE SEASON to make to the championship. To the loyal 8,000 supporters and the 22,000 glory hunters Its time to rally the troops, its time for us supporters to make a stand to push our team as far as they can go and futher, to sing, to chant, to clap, to swear when
