Town Join Prutton Chase

Town Join Prutton Chase

The Sky Sports website are reporting that Swindon Town have entered the race for David Prutton.

The once highly rated midfielder has 25 England Under-21 caps and enjoyed a bright start to his career with Nottingham Forest before a move to Southampton where he will be remembered for on pitch discipline issues.

Leeds United followed before joining Colchester United last season. Prutton was expected to extend his stay but Aidy Boothroyd's departure to Coventry City has resulted in interest from other clubs.

It's silly season, the same League One names have been thrown into the interested parties list. This rumour could be something but it could mean absolutely nothing!

As always we'll keep you posted.
