STFC: Exit Easton

STFC: Exit Easton

Midfielder Craig Easton has turned down a one year deal with the club and has therefore left Swindon after a three year spell in Wiltshire.

Easton was unable to break into the first team due to the fine form of Jonathan Douglas and Simon Ferry.

The former Scotland Under-21 international was signed by Paul Sturrock in 2007 from Leyton Orient. His first season was by far his best, Vital Swindon would argue that it he was Town's best player (Miguel Comminges scooped the trophies).

His second season was ruined by injuries and poor form.

Vital Swindon would like to thank Craig Easton for his contribution to Swindon Town and would like to wish him all the best at his new club, unless it's Oxford.
