STFC: Douglas is Appointed Captain
Danny Wilson has officially handed Irish midfielder Jonathan Douglas the captaincy ahead of the 2010/11 season.
Douglas captained Town at Wembley and replaces Gordon Greer who has moved to Brighton and Hove Albion.
Recently a Vital Swindon poll resulted in voters overwhelmingly agreeing with this decision.
Danny Wilson has dubbed the appointment of Douglas as 'an ideal replacement'.
