Town Confirm Brentford Friendly

Swindon Town have today confirmed that they will play former League One colleagues Brentford in a friendly at the end of July.

Brentford, who last week lost popular manager Martin Allen, lost out in the play off semi finals for the second consecutive season last month after losing 3-1 on aggregate to Welsh side Swansea City and will still no doubt provide a tough challenge for Dennis Wise's squad.

Brentford were one of the final visitors to the County Ground last season, easing past Town 3-1 on the 22nd April to put another nail in Swindon's coffin. Let's hope the next time the teams meet, the game won't be as simple for the West Londoners.

Ticket details for the friendly will be released shortly..
