STFC: Cirencester Town 1-2 Swindon Town

Town started Portuguese triallist Fabio Ferreira on the right wing.

The 21 year old starting his career at Sporting Lisbon before moving to Chelsea in 2008.

He had a brief loan spell with Oldham Athletic last year before returning to Portugal with Esmoriz in the Portuguese 2nd Division.

It was the home side that took the lead after 43 minutes through recent Cirencester signing Marcus Palmer, who could prove a very good signing for the Centurions.

However, Town levelled almost immediately after thanks to David Ball who scored after being put through by Alan O'Brien.
