04/09/10: Non-League Day

04/09/10: Non-League Day

Although Swindon Town would very much love every Moonraker to travel up to Cumbria this weekend, I'm sure they can appreciate why some will decide not to. Whether it's travel, costs etc it's fair enough. Trips to Hartlepool and Carlisle within a coupe of weeks is quite a commitment!

There is another option for fans who still want to watch some football this weekend because it's NON-LEAGUE DAY. England are playing on Friday and the Prem and Championship are having a week off, so this is a great opportunity for grass roots football to pull bigger crowds.

So if you're not doing the long haul to Cumbria, here are some options for you to ponder if you so wish (Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Bristol).

Blue Square Premier

Bath City v Barrow

Forest Green Rovers v Southport

Zamaretto Premier

Didcot Town v Banbury United

Salisbury City v Cirencester Town

Swindon Supermarine v Oxford City

Zamaretto South & West

Abingdon United v Yate Town

Almondsbury Town v Thatcham Town

Bishops Cleeve v Paulton Rovers

Clevedon Town v Sholing

Frome Town v Hungerford Town

Mangotsfield United v AFC Totton

FA Vase

Corsham Town v Oxford City Nomads

Devizes Town v Amesbury Town

Elmore v Portleven

Highworth Town v Bradford Town

Odd Down v Wells City

Shrivenham v Potton United

Westbury United v Lingfield

This is a short list, there are loads of Non-League matches taking place so have a lookJoin Vital Swindon!
