Mildenhall To Stay At Grimsby?

Mildenhall To Stay At Grimsby?

Swindon born goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall has began contract talks with Grimsby Town.

Mildenhall who came through the Youth Team at Swindon Town was Swindon Town's first choice goalkeeper during the 2000/2001 season. Mildenhall signed a contract extention to stay at Swindon but was sold 24 hours later to Notts County in a bizarre turn of events for a rumoured £150,000.

Many Swindon Town fans had talked about Mildenhall returning since the departure of Rhys Evans to Blackpool.

Swindon Town chief executive Mark Devlin commented saying that Dennis Wise had not mentioned Mildenhall's name and that Mildenhall's agent had not been in touch with the club.

Mildenhall it appears will begin talking to Grimsby about a new contract after doing enough to impress the club since arriving from Oldham in 2005.

Yeovil Town are also interested in Mildenhall according to Grimsby's Official Website.
