Coming Soon To Vital Swindon

There will be several new features coming to this site soon, as well as the return of some old ones.
2006/07 Fixtures List

Thurday 22 June 2006 at 10am the 2006/07 League Two Fixtures are released.

Due to FA Licensing Laws we are not allowed to publish a full list of the League Fixtures here.

We are currently looking at ways to be able to post the fixtures weather it is done in a calendar format or something similar and not as a list. We need to see how we can get around the licencing laws before making a final decision. We will keep you posted.

In the mean time the current plan is to list the important games, such as local derby's against Wycombe Wanderers, Bristol Rovers and Oxford Uni....Oh yes I forgot, they are in the Conference.

We will also be posting games of interest such as Torquay away, MK Dons away, Accrington Stanley away etc.

Club Guides

We are currently working on our League Two Club Guides, however this is a long exercise so please be patient.

STFC Travel
During the coming season we will be re-opening the STFC Travel website in a new format to coincide with the new season.

The new STFC Travel will have Weather reports and a review of the ground from other journalists from around League Two.

New Banner

We will have a new banner in place shortly with less emphasis on players, and more on the County Ground, club badge and manager Dennis Wise. Football is forever changing and thus it makes more sense to eliminate players from the banner.

New Images

We will have a many new images to use on this site next season. Not only will we have photo's from Empics, we will also have personal photo's and some donated from Swindon Town FC themselves.

Player Profiles

We are hoping to get player profiles set up for the 2006/07 season as well as a better layout for the squad list. We are currently trialling a couple of new formats which will be released shortly.

I envy your relationship with the club. Norwich City views fan's message boards as insignificant, and would hardly give the time of day except to the official FLPTV site, and that is the playground for those poor souls who are more interested in the colur of certain player's underwear than they are about the game...

Be glad when that banner is sorted - the sight of our mate Cureton is getting a bit much now....
