STFC: Curier Rumour Does the Rounds

STFC: Curier Rumour Does the Rounds

Internet rumours suggest that Danny Wilson is interesting in bringing Dundee forward Mickaël Antoine-Curier to the County Ground.

Antoine-Curier, 27, is a Guadeloupe international and a bit of a football nomad having played for 14 clubs during his nine year professional career.

The Orsay born forward started his career in France as a youth with Paris Saint-Germain and Nice before moving to the U.K. with Preston North End and the to Nottingham Forest. He failed to make any appearances at either clubs but had a loan spell with Brentford where he featured 11 times and scoring 3 goals.

Brief spells with Oldham Athletic, Kidderminster Harriers, Rochdale, Sheffield Wednesday, Notts County and Grimsby Town followed. He moved Norway with SK Vard Haugesund before moving to FK Haugesund.

Antoine-Curier returned to the U.K. with Hibernian in 2007 and then joined Dundee initially on loan and then made his move permanent in 2008.

He had enjoyed a decent spell with Dundee but returned to the SPL on loan with Hamilton last season.

Rumours suggest that Hamilton are also linked and having alreading enjoyed a loan spell with the Scottish side, that could be his desired destination.
