STFC: Stadium Update (October 2010)

Swindon Town chief executive has told the press that there has been much positivity in regards to the clubs attempts to re-development the County Ground.

Watkins told the Advertiser that the club wants 'to make sure that the business plan we are presenting holds water, and that will then give the council the confidence to know the plan is sustainable.'

Getting the Swindon Borough Council on our side is probably the most vital aspect of getting any changes made to the CG.

Watkins even suggested that relations between the club and the council was good by stating that at 'this stage all of the early and informal discussions with the council have been very supportive."

Nobody can deny that the club need a stadium to be proud of and although we're all fond of our beloved County Ground, it's needs that developing!
