STFC: Charlie 'Not For Sale'

STFC: Charlie 'Not For Sale'

As 2010 draws ever closer to a close, it usually signals the time when Football League clubs begin trying to keep hold of their prized assets. Swindon Town are no different.

It comes as no surprise that the club have started circulating the 'hands off' quotes across the media. Whether or not they succeed in keeping players like Charile Austin is another matter all together!

'We're looking to extend the period that he's with us. The farthest thing from our mind is letting Charlie go' Danny Wilson told BBC Wiltshire Radio this week.

Later during a fans forum Wilson stated that the club were 'not encouraging anyone to come in with any money. Whether they do, we don't know, but we're trying to encourage him to stay a longer period with us.'
