STFC: Ritchie 'we need to do better than that'

STFC: Ritchie 'we need to do better than that'

On loan Portsmouth midfielder Matt Ritchie has called for unity as Swindon try and get save their season.

The 2010/11 campaign has been a major disappointment as Town failed to build on their tremendous previous effort.

But Ritchie, who is expected to seal a permanent deal soon, has admitted to the Swindon Advertiser that the club are a 'little bit down' but continued by stating that the squad will 'pick ourselves up and go again Monday and hopefully we can get three points from that game.'

Easier said than done! Town travel to The Valley on Monday with moral clearly low and Ritchie words suggest this when he commented that 'hopefully all the lads can stick together, it`s a good club and it`s a great set of lads so hopefully we can get through this'.
