'If It's Football, It's Vital'

STFC: Re-Ward

Swindon Town chairman Andrew Fitton has reiterated the clubs desire to bring former Town loanee Danny Wilson back to the County Ground.

Ward, 19, enjoyed a very successful temporary spell at Swindon last year helping the club reach the Play-Offs.

The Bolton Wanderers centre forward who can also operate on the wing scored 9 times in 28 games for Swindon. Despite the clubs attempts to bring Ward back to SN1, his parent club opted to send their player to join Championship side Coventry City.

Ward suffered a groin injury only five games in and returned to the Reebok.

Talking to the Swindon Advertiser, Andrew Fitton stated that talks with Bolton Wanderers 'hasn`t been every week, but we have kept in contact. That is what we do.'
