STFC: Hart in Charge

STFC: Hart in Charge

Paul Hart was officially unveiled as Swindon Town manager today.

Hart, 57, has been appointed until the end of the season with the task of keeping Swindon in League One.

Swindon chairman Andrew Fitton has brought in the former Nottingham Forest manager due to his good recent track record of keeping the divisions. Hart kept Portsmouth in the Premier League during the 2007/08 season and kept Crystal Palace from falling into League One last season.

Hart praised the work of Danny Wilson and Paul Shirtliff but told the press that he doesn't 'think anybody can underestimate the challenge of a relegation-threatened side and that position does a lot to peoples` brains' and that his side has 'got to concentrate on the next game and make sure everybody`s comfortable with their position and what they`ve got to do.'

Hart's first challenge comes on Saturday when Walsall come to the County Ground.
