Woan Departs County Ground

After weeks of speculation, Ian Woan has left Swindon Town to join Rushden And Diamonds.

Woan will become a first team coach alongside Rushden manager Paul Hart.

Woan returned to the County Ground in 2004 after plying his trade in the United States. Woan said the oppourtunity was too good to turn down and that it gives him a chance to further himself after being the manager of Swindon Town Under 18's.

Former Chelsea defender David Lee will take over for Woan as manager of the Under 18's.
