STFC: O'Brien and Dossevi Depart

STFC: O'Brien and Dossevi Depart

Alan O'Brien and Thomas Dossevi has both had their contracts terminated by mutual consent.

In what proved to be the final acts by Andrew Fitton and Paul Hart, the duo were allowed to leave early before the summer rush.

Both O'Brien and Dossevi were Free Transfers signings by Danny Wilson.

O'Brien arrived in the pre-season prior to the 2009/10 campaign. Throughout his Swindon Town career the former Republic of Ireland international struggled with form and fitness.

Paul Hart had already told the press that the speedy winger was surplus under his management tenure.

Togo forward Thomas Dossevi arrived last summer after impressing during the Friendly victory over Nottingham Forest.

Hardly celebrated for his strike-rate, Dossevi huffed and puffed and worked hard but never looked liked cementing a place in the Town first eleven nor did he ever look like scoring many.
