STFC: Pollers want Parkinson

Vital Swindon voters would like to see former Reading favourite PHIL PARKINSON as the new Town boss.

Parkinson enjoyed success in his first managerial job with Colchester United, leading the U's into The Championship. However, he lasted less than five months at Hull City in 2006.

He was appointed manager of Charlton Athletic in 2008 where he led the Addicks to the 2009/10 Play-Offs where they were knocked out by Swindon Town in the Semi-Finals.

He was sacked by Charlton in January 2011 after losing 4-2 against Swindon at The Valley.
