Town Players Involved in Bar Attack

Town Players Involved in Bar Attack

Several Swindon Town players were involved in an incident during a night out according to the Twitter feeds of Town players.

The incident involved Jonathan Douglas and David Prutton while Simon Ferry, Scott Cuthbert and former Town winger Alan O'Brien were also present.

In the early hours, Jonathan Douglas sarcastically 'tweeted' that he 'Would like to thank the guys who bottled me tonight....

The players involved didn't appear to be hurt during the incident that occurred at an unknown location late on May 1st.

Perhaps what is most disappointing is that Town defender Michael Rose, who was not present, blamed Swindon Town fans for the brawl. Rose tweeted

'Wow I'm hearin some bad stories about last nite! I understand its not everyone but when ur own fans are attackin ur own players?! Seriously'.

Midfielder Simon Ferry, who witnessed the attack, tweeted that it had 'nuthin to do wi fans'

Several Town fans looked for an apology but Rose could only reply with

Ok, maybe it mite not of been fans jus a bit of a coincidence for me!!

Hmmm.
