VOTE: Team Performance of the Year

VOTE: Team Performance of the Year

The Vital Swindon End of Season Awards continue with the Team Performance of the Year poll.

Last season it was the 3-0 demolition of Leeds United at Elland Road... There's three to choose from this time.

1. Southampton 0-3 Swindon Town
(Johnstone's Paint Tropy)

Town record a comprehensive victory over the Saints at St. Mary's thanks to a brace by the impressive Vincent Pericard and a single goal from Charlie Austin.

STFC: Lucas, Kennedy, Morrison, Cuthbert, Amankwaah, Timlin, Douglas (Evans 21'), Ferry, McGovern, Austin (O'Brien 81'), Pericard.

2. Plymouth Argyle 0-4 Swindon Town
The F.A. Cup

If only we had some more of these performances in the league eh!

Goals from Sean Morrison, Charlie Austin, Vincent Pericard and Matt Ritchie destroy a disheartened Pilgrims side.

STFC: Smith, Rose, Lecsinel (O'Brien 80'), Morrison, Cuthbert, Ritchie, Timlin, Prutton, McGovern (Caddis 71'), Pericard (Dossevi 71'), Austin

3. Charlton Athletic 2-4 Swindon Town
League One

After this victory an employee of SkySports' website suggested that Town could easily make a Play-Off push after this impressive victory over Charlton.

It ended Phil Parkinson's tenure as manager of Athletc while Town ended the long unwanted run of not winning after falling behind. It didn't get better than this for Swindon in 2011.

Charlton scored first through Johnnie Jackson and got the final goal of the game through Pawel Abbott.

However, strikes from Matt Ritchie, Sean Morrison and Charlie Austin brace gave Town the three points.

STFC: Smith, Rose, Frampton, Morrison, Caddis, O'Brien (McGovern 66'), Timlin (Cuthbert 77'), Prutton, Ferry, Ritchie, Auston (Dossevi 85')
