Benyon Lost Heart 'cause of Hart!

Benyon Lost Heart 'cause of Hart!

Forward Elliot Benyon has criticised the Paul Hart regime

The 24 year old signed from Torquay United, who could themselves leapfrog Town in the Football League via the Play-Offs, under Danny Wilson who departed the club within a matter of weeks after Benyon's arrival.

Benyon described Hart's opinion on the forward as 'not having me as a player... That was basically it and I lost a lot of confidence during that period.'

However, the former Bristol City youngster reiterated his desire to move on by saying that the club has 'to look forward to next season now and it is a massive chance for us to win a title in League Two and come straight back up."'

Benyon has only managed to score once for Swindon and that was on his debut against Rochdale.
