Caddis Commits

Former Scotland under-21 international captain Paul Caddis is the latest player to declare his intention to remain at Swindon beyond the summer.

It is the usual, 'I stay if I'm wanted' but it's more positive than the group of players who were quick to jump ship the last time we were in this mess (Jamie Cureton, Sean O'Hanlon, Rhys Evans...)

Caddis was easily one of Town's better players throughout the season and was even drafted into the Scotland senior side during the campaign.

He told the Swindon Advertiser that first of all Town 'need to get a manager in, then it will be up to him what he wants to do. Then it depends on whether he is a footballing guy or wants to win at all costs basically... but the club will need to look at the finance side of things as well, I am no expert but I would imagine there would be a loss from dropping down a league.

Caddis joined Swindon last summer from Celtic along with Simon Ferry. He has two years remaining on his contract.
