Lescinel Offered Deal

Lescinel Offered Deal

One cap Haiti international Lescinel Jean-François has been given the chance to remain at the club for a further year.

The French Guyana born defender joined Swindon along with Hamdi Razak in early 2009.

While Razak disappeared back to France, Lescinel fought his way into the side and was an important member of the squad that made it to Wembley last season.

Some fans are far from convinced, believing that the 24 year old is more of a liability.

However, Swindon have decided that he is worth a further year.

Lescinel has previously played for Paris Saint-Germain B, Sedan B, Falkirk and Guingamp. He has played over 50 league games for Swindon and scored his first goal for the club at Tranmere Rovers on the final day of the 2010/11 season.
