Wilson set for Blades

Wilson set for Blades

Former Sheffield Wednesday player and manager Danny Wilson is set to become the new boss at steel city rivals Sheffield United.

Of course, until March Wilson was in charge at Swindon Town where he guided us to safety in 2009, took us to Wembley in 2010 and essentially relegated us in 2011!

Wilson eventually resigned after mounted pressure from the fans and local media who were critical of his tactics throughout his final months.

That said, Wilson's era provided Town fans easily our better memories from the last decade. He certainly gets my best wishes, however I doubt that Wednesday fans will be that happy!
