Di Canio Gets Zola Approval

Di Canio Gets Zola Approval

Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola has become the latest high profile name to support Paolo Di Canio's decision to manage Swindon Town.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp and A.C. Milan CEO Adriano Galliani have either praised or offered their support to Di Canio since the Italian signed a two year deal with Swindon.

Now Zola has spoken out regarding the appointment. In an interview with the Advertiser he praised his fellow Italian's decision to start in the lower leagues but stating that only "time will tell if he will be successful, but it is never a bad thing to start from low down and build up."

Zola continued by saying that he hoped the appointment would be a success "not only for him but also for Swindon supporters, that he will do very well there."
