No.10 Retired for 2011/12

No.10 Retired for 2011/12

It has been announced that the number 10 jersey will not be worn in any Swindon Town fixtures next season.

Despite Paolo Di Canio being retired as a player, the club have decided to allocate the new Swindon manager the number 10 for commercial reasons.

Since squad numbers were introduced, the number 10 has been worn by:

1993/94: Martin Ling
1999/00: Giuliano Grazioli
2000/01: Giuliano Grazioli
2001/02: Giuliano Grazioli
2002/03: Stefani Miglioranzi
2003/04: Stefani Miglioranzi
2004/05: Stefani Miglioranzi
2005/06: Stefani Miglioranzi
2006/07: Lee Peacock
2007/08: Jon-Paul McGovern
2008/09: Jon-Paul McGovern
2009/10: Michael Timlin
2010/11: David Prutton
2011/12: Paolo Di Canio
