Atiku offered terms

Atiku offered terms

Ghanaian attacking midfielder Ibrahim Atiku has been offered a deal after impressing during his trial period.

Atiku arrived in Wiltshire last week along with Oliver Risser and Leon Knight.

Knight was let go after two days but Risser was quickly offered a deal and now it appears that Atiku has done enough to earn a contract too.

Ibrahim Atiku was considered an exciting talent during the beginning of his career in Ghana with Liberty Professionals. He and his childhood friend Michael Essien were invited to train with Manchester United while Atiku had a similar offer from Borussia Dortmund.

His career failed to match the expectations that some had of him and he has become something of a journeyman playing across Europe with Västerås, Friska Viljor, Assyriska Föreningen, Sylvia, Vasalunds IF and Ethnikos Piraeus.
