Ferry pondered exit
Popular midfielder Simon Ferry has admitted that he came close to quitting Swindon Town.
Ferry was a relevation in the centre of midfield with Jonathan Douglas during the 2009/10 season. However, he lost his place when David Prutton arrived last Summer (much to the disgust of the majority of the Town fanbase).
The former Celtic youngster still managed a game every now and again under Danny Wilson but disappeared from view under Paul Hart.
Ferry told BBC Radio Wiltshire that there was 'no worse feeling than sitting and watching the boys getting beaten'
He continued by admitted that Town's relegation 'was so disappointing, for the team and from a personal point of view. When the team was doing so bad I wanted to be there to help them.
However, Simon Ferry echoed the views of Paul Caddis by stating that 'everyone wants to wipe the slate clean so it's up to me and the other boys to impress Paolo and get ourselves in the team'.
