Norcia XI 0-11 Swindon Town

The Paolo Di Canio era started with an eleven goal mauling of the Norcia Select XI.

The Italian outfit consisted of amateur players from the area and were largely expected to be canon fodder for Swindon Town.

This proved to be the case as goals coming from the following...

2x Matt Ritchie
2x Rafa De Vita
2x Jonathan Smith
1x Billy Bodin
1x Simon Ferry
1x Joe Devera
1x Kevin Amankwaah
1x Callum Kennedy (penalty)

...gave Town an ideal start of their pre-season. Sure, it may not be a true indication of Town's future performances but it will certainly be good for squad morale.

Next up will be a 'Conference level' outfit
