Lucas future remains unclear
Swindon Town goalkeeper David Lucas is yet to find a new club as the season approaches.
Lucas was granted permission to speak to clubs closer to his Northern family base after he revealed that life in the south had taken its toll on his personal life.
The former Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United shotstopper had linked up the set-up at Rochdale and attended their summer training camp in Spain.
However, yesterday Lucas featured for his first club Preston North End in a pre-season friendly against Falkirk.
I am sure that Preston would be his dream destination as that's where he began his football career.
Lucas played in the 2-2 draw and conceded a goal after only 40 seconds.
