Summer Signing #10: Mehdi Kerrouche

Summer Signing #10: Mehdi Kerrouche

Algerian centre forward Mehdi Kerrouche has signed a two year deal with the club.

Kerrouche, 25, was born in France and started his football education with Lens before dropping into the lower leagues with AC Cambrai 2006.

He moved to Belgium a year later to play for K.S.K. Ronse which led to another switch, this time to Algeria top flight outfit USM Alger.

After an unhappy spell with USM Alger, Kerrouche returned to the French amateur leagues with GFCO Ajaccio but his ability to find the net once again caught the attention of clubs and he joined Portuguese side Associação Naval 1º de Maio.

In in 2010 he joined UAE 2nd Division club Al-Oruba and that was his last port of call prior to his move to England with Swindon.
