McCormack has Town talks

Swindon Town have been locked in discussions with former Southend United midfielder Alan McCormack.

The Irishman had his contract with Charlton Athletic terminated by mutual consent so would not command a fee.

A central player, many fans have been surprised that the club are continuing to pursue the position with Oliver Risser, Simon Ferry, Jonathan Smith and Michael Timlin all competing for a spot in the centre of the park.

WHAT DO YOU THINK? DO WE NEED ANOTHER CENTRAL MIDFIELDER?

Meanwhile it is believed that trialist midfielder Etiėnne Esajas has been offered a contract with the club.
