Town Get £175,000 For Sean O'

Swindon Town will receive up to £175,000 from Milton Keynes Dons a Football League tribunal has decided.

Chief Executive Mark Devlin and manager Dennis Wise were at FA headquarters today and announced via the official site the club will receive an up front payment of £75,000. The club can earn another £100,000 based on appearances and should MK Dons get promoted this season.

O'Hanlon looked set to sign a 3 year contract to remain at the County Ground before shockingly signing for MK Dons.

Mark Devlin spoke to the Official Swindon Town website shortly after the hearing and had this to say, 'We remain very disappointed over the way that Sean left the club and the circumstances surrounding it, but we are grateful to the Football League committee for giving us a fair hearing,'

Lawz1981.. I think you hit the nail on the head there, I totally agree about O'Hanlon. I hope this year we play as a unit and not relying on individuals, Brentford impressed me in the department. If Roberts can get the supporters behind him I think he will be great, and hopefully it will help his personal life too.
