Lucas joins Rochdale
David Lucas have finally left Swindon and signed a one year deal with League One outfit Rochdale.
Lucas was brought in by Danny Wilson shortly after his release from Leeds United in 2009.
He played for Town for two seasons, the first saw Lucas enjoy a regular spot in the side. He helped get Town to Wembley in 2010.
However, injury and lack of form saw him in and out of the side. He signed a new deal last season but cited personal reasons for his exit.
