Heywood Joins Brentford

Former Swindon Town defender Matt Heywood has joined Brentford on a month's loan from Bristol City.

Heywood departed the County Ground for local rivals Bristol City following the 2004/05 season.

The tall defender missed most of last season with injury and City boss Gary Johnson feels it would benefit Heywood and Bristol City if he played first team football for another club rather than waiting for reserve fixtures to get his match fitness back.

why doesn't he just play for the first team for Bristol if that's the case. Reckon there has been a bust up.
