England V Portugal At Swindon

England Under 17's will play Portugal Under 17's at the County Ground on Sunday 3 September.

It's not quite Rooney V Ronaldo, however due to the incident during the World Cup in the Summer, bad blood will still be brewing between the 2 nations given the events of the now infamous England, Portugal World Cup Quarter Final Match.

England Under 17's manager John Peacock showed his delight at the fixture being played at the County Ground. 'This should be an exciting match for football fans in Swindon. I'd like to thank the club for showing their commitment to youth football by hosting the match.'

Swindon Town last hosted a international last year when England Under 17's played USA Under 17's at the Pepsi Cup last season.

Wayne Rooney is just one of many star players to play at the Under 17 level. Why not come support the stars of tomorrow, today and support your country live at the County Ground in Swindon.
