Duo leave on loan

Duo leave on loan

Town duo Billy Bodin and Will Evans have been shipped out on loan.

Both are graduates from the Swindon Town youth system signing professional deals in 2010.

Former Town favourite Martin Ling has done his old club a favour by taking Billy Bodin to Torquay United.

Billy Bodin played the first three games of the season but the arrivals of Lukas Magera and Leon Clarke has left the Wales under-21 with no choice but to seek a move elsewhere.

Meanwhile Will Evans has also linked up with another former Swindon Town player turned Football League manager.

Evans joins West Wiltshire native Jamie Pitman at Hereford United. Pitman himself played a couple of times for Town under Steve McMahon in the mid-90's before moving to Hereford.

Bodin will remain at Plainmoor until January while Evans has signed a three month loan deal at Hereford.
