Flint takes opening Vital award

Flint takes opening Vital award

Aden Flint has been voted the Vital Swindon Player of the Month for August 2011.

It appears to be the standard with voters that when the going gets tough then you award a defender... and probably rightly so!

Flint was been brilliant under Paolo Di Canio despite a leaky defence. Flint's workrate and commitment to the cause has been obvious.

Second went to 2010/11 Player of the Year Matt Ritchie while captain Paul Caddis took third.

As always thanks for voting!
