'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Paolo Di Canio's Mission Has Just Started

After a string of impressive results, and fans have started questioning the long term future of Town boss Paolo Di Canio at the County Ground.

Many fans expected PDC to sink or swim this season, and whilst the start of the season was lacklustre at best, things are picking up at SN1 which has had fans talking about PDC leaving Wiltshire for pastures new further up the footballing ladder.

If you read Paolo`s autobiography, he is a very loyal person and turned down the chance to play at Manchester United out of loyalty. PDC will likely stay at Wiltshire until the job is done. He has had the resources and the backing of the board and the fruit`s of Di Canio`s labour are finally starting to show!

Prior to the season many thought the season would be an absolute disaster or absolutely brilliant, but one thing was certain, PDC would be gone in January, either becuase he couldn't cut it as a manager or becuase he was too good for Swindon Town.

In today's Swindon Advertiser, chairman Jeremy Wray states he expects Di Canio to see out his two year contract at the County Ground and that there is no one that puts in more hours than the flamboyant Italian himself.
