Cherries Return With £250K Bid For Ritchie
AFC Bournemouth have tested Swindon Town`s nerve by offering £250,000 for winger Matt Ritchie plus add-ons after their initial bid was rejected outright by Swindon earlier on today.
It is believed that Town will reject the bid but the Cherries must have been quite close in their valuation for one of Town`s star players.
Town have said they will not sell any of their players unless they get an offer they can`t refuse but 250K is a big wedge for a League Two player.
Whilst Ritchie remains at the County Ground for now, it is believed that Bournemouth will make another offer when the transfer window opens in January.

i have it on VERY good authority it was £400K, so that would only be about £1.6 million short of P DC's valuation.
