Leon Clarke To Huddersfield Or Bournemouth?

Striker Leon Clarke is set to leave the County Ground with Huddersfield Town and AFC Bournemouth leading the chase.

Chesterfield were keen to re-sign the forward who scored 9 goals whilst on loan there earlier on in the season however it appears they are unable to met Clarke`s wage demands and therefore Bournemouth who now have a wealthy backer on board along with Huddersfield Town appear to be leading the chase.

Town boss Paolo Di Canio has stated several times that Clarke has no future at Swindon despite his goal scoring exploits at Chesterfield in League One after he and the player had a blazing row after Town`s Cup loss to Southampton earlier on in the season.

Town have already said that several players may go to make room for new ones.

Midfielder Michael Timlin has already agreed a permanent transfer to Southend United in January.
