Town Make Big Money Bid For Luke Rooney
Swindon Town have made a significant bid to bring Luke Rooney to the County Ground from League Two rivals Gillingham.
Rooney is highly rated and Gillingham are trying to sign the midfielder to a contract extension although talks stalled recently which made Andy Hessenthaler make the decision to leave him out of the squad.
Rooney has recently returned to the Gills squad as the club decided to re-open negotiations with Rooney .
Town boss was slated by Hessenthaler for making his interest known publicly in the winger and now it looks like PDC will do all he can to land his man.
Gillingham fans will no doubt be gutted to lose one of their prized assets to a team they despise in Swindon Town.
