'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wise Praises Swindon Fans

Swindon Town manager Dennis Wise has praised the Swindon Town fans who have thus far cheered their team on to two wins in two games.

Dennis wants to see the big crowds return this weekend against Rochdale.

'The crowd were fantastic and hopefully we can get a few more in for Rochdale now.

'I am sure if we keep winning they will keep coming, but they were brilliant in helping the players.'

The Swindon Town ticket office has confirmed they expect a gate of 7,000+ for the Saturday encounter.

On Swindon's 100% start to the season, Wise was quietly optomistic, 'We cannot get carried away, we have six points and have made a good start to the season but we have to be strong and stand our ground.'
