Di Canio: Ritchie Can Leave In Summer

Di Canio: Ritchie Can Leave In Summer

After Swindon's 2-1 win over Rotherham this afternoon Paolo Di Canio told the media that Matt Ritchie is going nowhere this season.

Ritchie scored 2 goals in 2 minutes today to give Town a vital 3 points over Rotherham at the Don Valley Stadium.

Ritchie's performance was bound to raise questions over Ritchie's long term future at the County Ground however Di Canio said he told Ritchie to forget leaving this season but if he wants to go in the Summer the club would consider it if the money were right.

Di Canio also stated that he hoped Ritchie would commit his long term future to the club should the club win promotion.
